Tips for a Memorable Engagement Session - Collaborating with Your Photographer

It can be intimidating finding a good photographer who will meet your expectations and work WITH you, to achieve what you’re looking for - your once-in-a-lifetime engagement session. Rest assured, I will do everything I can so the photos and experience meet up to your expectations! Here are a few ways YOU can communicate and help me host the most amazing session for you and your partner.

#1 - Show me photos of that inspire you!

We’ve all been scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest and seeing photos that catch our eye, in hopes to have photos that are similar. Save those photos, and send them or show them to me on the day of your shoot or in advance. This gives me more of an idea of the photos you're wanting, different poses, and aesthetics so that I can be prepared to get those photos and work with YOU.

#2 - Let me know if you have a specific location you would like to go to!

I love to encourage my clients to pick a fun location if that's something they would like. Sometimes there are locations that hold sentimental value to you and your partner, like a first date location, or simply somewhere you've been wanting to go to! If you are stumped on where to go, don't stress - I will help make sure we pick a beautiful location and agree on it ahead of time!

#3 Let’s discuss props!

Props are a great way to spice up your proposal, or engagement photoshoot. Communicating with me ahead of time on what you think is super important so that I can assist you in many ways you may need! Whether that's carrying things, or helping you set up. Don't hesitate to ask! I’d love to recommend you some props as well!

Communication is key! Any questions, concerns, recommendations, you name it - let me know! I want to ensure you are taken care of, prepared, and excited!

P.S. I am ALWAYS here for you - one text or phone call away! Let me know if you would like to book a shoot! Can't wait to hear from you.

-Misha
